How Falcon Lab collects and uses personal data when you visit falconlab.eu or contact us. Last updated: October 2026.
1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data on this website is Falcon Lab, Ventspils Augsto Tehnoloģiju Parks 5, Ventspils, LV-3602, Latvia. You can reach us at info@falconlab.eu.
2. What data we collect
- Contact and enquiry data. If you use our contact form or email us: your name, email address, the subject and content of your message, and any technical specifications you send.
- Technical data. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and the time of the visit.
- Cookie data. See our Cookie Policy.
3. Why we use your data and on what basis
- To answer your enquiries, prepare quotes and take steps before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure, prevent abuse and understand how it is used (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To use non-essential cookies such as analytics, only if you consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- To meet legal obligations, such as accounting and tax rules (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. Who receives your data
We share data only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, for example Squarespace (website hosting, forms and email notifications), our email provider, and Google Fonts (font delivery). These providers process data on our behalf or under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose data where required by law.
5. International transfers
Some providers, including Squarespace, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. How long we keep your data
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for up to 3 years afterwards in case of follow-up. If a business relationship follows, we keep the relevant records for as long as accounting and legal rules require. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@falconlab.eu.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Latvia this is the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija), www.dvi.gov.lv.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always published on this page, with the date above.
